The IUP Horn Studio is comprised of music majors, music minors, and horn enthusiasts at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). Music majors and minors receive weekly private lessons with Dr. Heidi Lucas, Assistant Professor of Horn at IUP. They also perform in the IUP Horn Choir, which is open to other horn enthusiasts as well. Horn players also perform in the IUP Marching Band, IUP Wind Ensemble, IUP Symphonic Band, IUP Symphonic Winds, and various chamber ensembles, including Horn Quartets, Brass Quintets, Woodwind Quintets, and other configurations.

The IUP Horn Choir has performed at the 2015 and 2016 Northeast Horn Workshops, and hosted the 2016 Northeast Horn Workshop in January of 2016. The group performs concerts each semester and has been preparing educational outreach and recruitment programs to use on an upcoming tour of regional schools.
